Funny Cameron

Cameron really is a funny kid. I don't know if all kids are this funny, but Tyler and I have great laughs everyday at him and his antics. So I decided to share the experience. I posted a couple of videos of him just being himself. They are both long so they are def best for the Cameron "fans" out there (i.e. grandmas, aunts, you know).

This first one was before bed when Tyler and Cam were hanging out together (I was gone crafting with some friends). I'm glad Tyler took this video because it's so him and I'll love watching it and remembering once he's grown up. (If the running around the table starts to drag, speed it forward because it's pretty funny at the end.)

This second one is something I have wanted to film him doing for a while now, and I have to say this BY FAR is not his best demonstration (imagine that, if you can). Cameron is a passionate chap and feels very strong empathy for TV characters. Even if he's seen the movie 100s of times, he will still get extremely upset when something he thinks is traumatic happens. This video is an example. He is watching Thumbelina and she and the bird are trying to keep her from going over the waterfall. Note: at the end when he is laying on the floor, he is copying Thumbelina. Another thing he likes to do is mimic characters on TV. Who doesn't?

One thing's for sure, these kids come to us with personalities already!

In addition...

Here is the official announcement: I found a great accounting flex-time/part-time job working for a CPA who is also a mother and who employs other stay-at-home moms in my exact situation. It was by quite a random series of events that it came about, but I am feeling very blessed to have it because I enjoy the work, it will add greatly to our financial situation and possibly allow me to finally get the work hours requirement for my CPA. This morning was my first day. Tyler is able to shift his schedule a bit at this point so we traded our usual roles this morning and will again Thursday morning. I enjoyed the brain exercise (and hope I will be back to par with my skills soon) and Tyler and Cameron had a very good morning together. In fact, it is another one of my main reasons for this new job: so Cameron and Tyler can spend good quality time together without me hovering telling Tyler how to parent. So far, so good.

Needless to say things will be busier now but we'll see how well we can keep all the balls in the air. I think we can do it! Everyone give me a cheer for luck! "Hooray!"

Cameron's 2 Year Shots

Here are a few of Cameron's 2 year shots. What a cute son I have! Thanks Natalie! Remember to check out her website via the link in my last post. She's the best!

You have to admit this last one is hilarious. Maybe we have a male model on our hands!
