We're finally back from Hawaii, actually we have been for a couple of weeks now but had to move into a new place. So, for those of you dying to see, here's a couple pictures of the fabulous month long vacation we had with my family.
It was our first time flying with Cameron and he did fairly well, no big tantrums and he took naps in our arms. On the way down we went with Melanie and Paige. Here's them on the floor at the San Fransisco Airport. Paige is trying to pick up all the toys for herself. So funny.

The three of us stayed at the house my Dad has. We went to help him fix it up. Here's Tyler up in the trees. He helped my dad tame the jungle and cut back a bunch of trees to restore the view we have of the ocean. The mountains are georgeous, n'est pas?

Here's the other big project we helped out with. We re-tiled the master bedroom floor to look like Japanese tatami mats--the house looks very Japanese also which is why my dad bought it in the first place. This project took forever and it was all three (dad, me, Tyler) of ours' first tiling job, and if I may say so, it looks awesome!

I spent most of my days with my favorite little guy. Here's the room we stayed in...and my attempt at decorating it with our swimsuits.

But now to the fun stuff! We went to the Polynesian Cultural Center and stayed during the day and watched the show at night--I LOVE that show. Tyler got to feel in touch with his 1/8 Hawaiian roots. This picture is my favorite of us three. We couldn't resist taking a touristy picture.

Of course we spent many afternoons on the beach and in the ocean, my favorite thing to do in Hawaii. Cameron at first didn't like it but then really got into it: playing and splashing in the water, eating sand, aka, making pearls.

It was the first time all the grandbabies were together. I think they all really had fun together. Melanie says Paige still keeps talking about "Cameron, Caleb, and Jack" all the time, and I know Cameron is excited when he gets to see Paige and also Caleb and Jack when we ran into them in Ikea the other day (because Holly and James have moved here to Utah!). Sweet babies!

One of the highlights of the trip, for me, was going out to Waikiki with just my sisters (my mom didn't want to go, she was obviously invited)! We left the babes with the men and went out on the town shopping, joking, and just having an awesome time! I sure love all my sisters and we really are the best of friends. We had so much fun playing and joking around this night. We all realized we hadn't been out just us six since my bachelorette party two years before! As for me, it was only my second time being out without Cameron (excluding to the store, etc.) and it was a weird feeling. I kept seeing clocks that said 11 o'clock and being like "Oh man! It's so late to be out!" Having a baby sure changes things!

Of course spending so much more quality time with my parents was awesome. I was with them for 10 weeks straight! It was so great. And of course they keep saying they miss seeing and cuddling Cameron. Hey, what about me?? JK Here we are waiting to be seated at the Cheesecake Factory on Waikiki.

Half of the gang stayed at a timeshare 30 minutes away (=lots of driving), so we got to spend a good amount of time in the nice pools there. It also provided a place where I could let Cameron play on the floor (the house's floor was too dirty due to all the remodeling).

But after all the fun is had, I know one thing to be true...
WE HEART MCDONALDS!!! (Someone in our family went there at least once a day, no joke.)
