Nibbler's Books
"Thank you Grandma Neal for my new Bunnies book! I love it and read it several times a day!"
Books are an important component to a child's education and therefore collection of toys. In fact, I learned in my emergent literacy class that you should store a child's books with or right next to their toys. That has worked very well for us as Cameron will pull them down every day and "read" through them all. (The days of him allowing me to read to him are past for now, but I figure he is still getting what he needs!) The only downside to making Cam's books so accessible to him is they get treated like the rest of his toys and spend a lot of time in his mouth.

Doesn't tyler have a matching sleeveless shirt like cams? If not, he should. That'd be a great christmas card.
He is SOOOOOO cute reading to himself. He will probably love reading just like Mommy and Daddy. That is hilarious that he eats the books to shreds! I laughed about the book which, unbeknownst to it, was about to be shed assunder! Ha! Very funny!
That Cam cam is sure a speed reader!! I was laughing the whole time watching him flip through that rabbit book and "read" it as he went. (: It was so cute!
I think it's also great to make sure kids are "reading" and being read to. We have just recently added "a book" to Jack's bedtime routine. It's so cute. He now wants to sleep with his books even though he doesn't ever really let me read the whole thing. It's so cute. Don't worry about all those "eaten"books though. They are definitely well used and you can (like you said) get more expensive books later when he stops mauwing them so much, which should be soon. (:
What a cute kid. We are getting way excited for you all to come and spend time with us.
HEY! Sarah is eating a book as we write! HA!
I laughed good at the mowed on books. Paige never did that, and I can't really tell if Sarah is a book muncher yet...
Too cute baby Cam.
So cute! I love that you call it "speed read"! I like seeing his persoanlity.
