Sarah Palin is one of my, as well as many others', new heros. I mean, what's not to like? Brains, personality, and beauty. I had stars in my eyes the first time I heard her speak at the Republican National Convention. She has really added fire to the Republican ticket. She is fabulous!It's not news that the media is having an unabashed love affair with Obama; SNL had it spot on months ago before he was even offically the Dem's candidate. So we have all gotten used to liberal media. But I tell you, I get so ANGRY with how the day after she spoke and ignited a fire under us all, the media tears into her personal life, trying to defame her. Seriously, besides the hurricanes, the only headlines I have seen on CNN have to do with Palin. First it's "Her daughter's pregnant!" and no one really responds. Then it's "She went to a penticostal church her whole life! And they speak in tounges!" And then I see random snippits about her censoring books, firing someone, her husband getting a supenoa. Someone hacks into her personal email! Then last night Larry King says "Is the public getting tired of Sarah Palin? Next!" I was SO MAD!! I cannot believe how shameless the media is being! The truth is there is no real "dirt" on Sarah Palin and they are scared silly about losing the election and so they are pulling out all the stops. At this point, what is the difference between them and the paparatzi? I can't watch the news without dry heaving.
I don't know why anyone would want to run for public office. You can be the best, clean living person and all anyone can do is point out potential flaws. It's like taking care of ungrateful, bratty kids.

thats what i was thinking when i was reading about her email getting hacked. it is easy to make someone seem inadequate by pointing out their flaws because nobody is perfect. if that is all the dirt they can find on her then i'm not worried. all those things just make her seem more human to me, which i think is desirable.
I hear ya and totally agree. I hate the fact that there is so much attention paid to her baby and the fact he has downs. Just because she didn't abort which is the democratic thing to do. Grrrrr! I adore her as well!
Man oh man, we are all fired up! Fired up with excitement about the McCain Palin ticket and fired up mad at the media. Yea, you are right about what you said.
I didn't realize how bad it was until I watched Keith Olberman on MSNBC talking about her. I couldn't believe my eyes. Why don't they just call his show an opinion show. It's not news! I heard Rush and Glenn talking about the media all the time trashing her, but it's different when you actually see it yourself.
I completely agree. I was really angry with my hairdresser on Saturday. He and I always talk a bit about the recent political happenings and then he states, "Now, that Sarah Palin, she is CRAZY!" And for the first time in my life, I was so ticked at him. (he is a dem) My hairdresser, who is gay, says she is crazy because she has five children, including a downs syndrome baby, hunts, is conservative and is a woman Governor of Alaska?? You would think that someone of an alternative life style would be more understanding to people who may have lived life differently than them. Seriously, one persons "alternative lifestyle" is another persons "normal". The hypocrisy dumbfounds me.
