We were watching (or I was watching) family videos of my family the other day and we got to the part where I was born. Holy cow!! Does anyone see the resemblance?? We couldn't believe how similar Cameron and I look! I took this picture of the TV. (And that's my sister Holly getting her beloved camera time in.) We still need to see a baby picture of Tyler to see what he inherited from dad--we think that's where he got his big head from. :) But we agree, for the most part Cameron got his face from momma.
Another genetic characteristic I like to tease that Cam inherited from mom: lover of sleep! Cameron sleeps awesome, 10 hours a night with only 1 wake up! And his naps can be 3 hours sometimes! He also lets me set him down before he's completely asleep which is not so easy with all babies. And anyone who knows me know I sleep lots and nap lots. "You take more naps than anyone I know!" says sister Heidi. Tyler has started this habit of taking pictures of me when he finds me napping so he can make a nap book for the kids and encourage them to sleep by showing them the pictures of me and saying, "See, mommy likes to take naps!" We'll see if that actually happens!

I love the idea that Tyler has of taking pictures each time you take a nap! I got a good laugh out of that!
Tyler: you gotta' make a nap scrapbook of Minds. We could find some of her sleeping all over the place when she was single too. So cute! I am very happy for you that he is a good sleeper. Mindy was my best earliest sleeper too. BUT she HAD to be in her own crib.
