Valentine's Day

Seeing as everyone is sharing what they did for Valentine's Day on their blog, I figure I will follow suit. Luckily Thursday is a day when Tyler is home most of the day; it's like our Saturday. So we made this so-good lunch of pesto and feta pork chops, a potato medley, and deviled eggs with Smart Cookie sugar cookies for dessert (a box of 4 was my little present to Tyler) and wildberry italian soda with frozen berries to chill it to drink. I must say, we would have had to pay about $50 a plate at a restaurant to get a meal this good. I kept saying "mmmmm" the whole time! So good! And Cameron even napped through it so we both got to enjoy it fully.

Afterward we three all went to see "Dan in Real Life" at the dollar theater. Tyler held the sleeping Cam the whole time which was good because I actually got to pay attention to the movie! It was a really fun day. For presents, we kept it small but perfectly sweet: Tyler got me a pink gerber daisy and I got him the cookies and the wildberry italian soda (he likes drinks a lot), and we both made each other nice cards. :)

OOhhhhhh...so sweet and romantic! That is really neat. Valentine's days like that are just as good as any!!! (It helped that the baby cooperated.)

How sweet that you guys included Cameron in your celebrations. (: I was thinking you'd have Natalie babysit or something. Way to go on setting a limit on valentine's presents. (:

Because of the extra cash I'm making teaching music we were able to go to this really nice French restaurant for dinner, watch a movie at the theater AND pay for a babysitter for 5 hours. It was really expensive, but really worth it. (:

That's cute. The pix was cute and the food looked really good...uh, even though I don't eat meat.
